How to send a link to Google TV or Android TV
Most Google TV and Android TV devices, including Chromecast with Google TV, do not come with a web browser. Install a browser app from Google Play on the TV, open kkll.li in it, and scan the QR code with your phone to send the link. If the site has an app that supports Google Cast, casting from your phone is usually simpler.

What you need
- A Google TV or Android TV device with a web browser app installed from Google Play.
- Internet access on the TV and on your phone. They do not need to be on the same network.
- A phone that can scan QR codes with its camera.
Steps
- Install and open a browser. On the TV, search Google Play for a web browser made for TV, install it and open it. You only need to do this once.
- Go to the TV address. Type kkll.li in the address bar and wait for the QR code. Bookmark the page to skip typing next time.
- Scan and send. Scan the QR code with your phone camera, paste your link and tap Send.
- Open on the TV. Select Open on the TV.
Casting or sending a link?
Google Cast is built into Google TV. If the website has an app with a Cast button, casting hands playback to the TV and is usually the easiest choice, as long as the phone and TV are on the same network.
Sending a link fits when the page has no Cast support, when you only have the address of a web page, or when the phone and TV are on different networks. The TV then opens the page in the browser app you installed.
Choosing a browser app
Browser apps for Google TV differ a lot: some are awkward to use with a remote, and video support varies. Pick one that is designed for TV and well reviewed by TV users. sendlinktotv.com has not yet tested specific browser apps on Google TV.
Compatibility
- Android TV / Google TV Not yet tested on a real device Most models have no preinstalled web browser; one must be installed first.
Troubleshooting
- I cannot find a browser in Google Play on the TV
- The apps available depend on the device and your region. If there is no browser, cast from your phone instead, or use another device with a web browser connected to the TV.
- No QR code appears on the TV
- Check that the TV is online and that you typed kkll.li exactly. Older TV browsers may not support the features sendlinktotv.com needs; if the page keeps showing “Connecting…”, try another device with a newer browser.
- The page opens but the video does not play
- Playback depends on the website and the TV browser. Some services, including Netflix, do not support TV web browsers. Try the same link in the TV browser directly to confirm.
- The site is blocked or asks me to sign in on the TV
- The TV opens the link with its own internet connection and its own logins. Your phone’s VPN, accounts and cookies are not transferred, and sendlinktotv.com cannot bypass network or regional blocks.
On your TV’s web browser, go to kkll.li and scan the QR code with your phone.
kkll.li is our official short address for TV remotes. It opens sendlinktotv.com/tv.
Use this screen as the TVOnly choose this on the TV or screen that should open the link.
