Check the operating system before following Toshiba browser instructions. For a VIDAA model with Browser, open kkll.li, scan the QR code and send your link. A Toshiba model labelled Fire TV or Android TV needs the browser instructions for that platform.

## What you need

- A Toshiba VIDAA model whose manual lists Browser, or a browser installed on another supported Toshiba TV platform.
- Internet access on the TV and on your phone. They do not need to be on the same network.
- A phone that can scan QR codes with its camera.

## Steps

1. **Choose the browser for your Toshiba platform.** On the VIDAA layout documented by Toshiba, press Home and select More Apps > Browser. If your television is a Fire TV, open Silk instead. On Android TV, install a TV browser from Google Play if one is offered.
2. **Go to the TV address.** Type kkll.li in the address bar and wait for the QR code. Bookmark the page to skip typing next time.
3. **Scan and send.** Scan the QR code with your phone camera, paste your link and tap Send.
4. **Open on the TV.** Select Open on the TV.

## Technical compatibility: match the regional manual

Toshiba’s VIDAA manual describes More Apps > Browser, address entry, page navigation and bookmarks. Use that path only for a matching VIDAA television. Record the full model code, including its suffix, and the country in which it was sold when checking documentation.

The existence of a Browser icon is only the first requirement. The TV still needs an engine capable of running the receiver and making a secure live connection. No Toshiba model-year or VIDAA-version cutoff has been verified for this app; check the installed browser instead of treating the Toshiba logo as a compatibility guarantee.

## Saving the right address for another visit

Use Add to Bookmarks inside the Toshiba browser while the address is kkll.li or sendlinktotv.com/tv. A bookmark reopens the receiver and creates a fresh QR session; it does not remember a phone or preserve a used session.

If the manual has no browser entry, changing an input or installing an app on your phone will not add one to the television. A separate HDMI device with a suitable browser is an alternative receiver.

## Technical requirements for this app

The TV browser must load HTTPS pages, run JavaScript, render a QR code using canvas and maintain a secure WebSocket connection. The receiver build targets Chromium 85 or newer. This is an engineering target, not a verified TV support list; older or different browser engines need individual assessment.

Keep the receiver page open while scanning and sending. Each QR session accepts one link and expires after 10 minutes. Select Open with the TV remote to open the destination in a new tab; the browser must allow that user-initiated action. To send again, return to the receiver, select Send another and scan the new QR code.

The TV loads the destination using its own network, cookies and sign-in state. Link delivery does not establish video support: the website, codecs and DRM must also work in that browser. A streaming service working in a native TV app does not prove that its website will play.

## Real-device testing

The devices marked "Not yet tested" have no completed real-device test. Browser documentation and engine versions do not confirm a successful link handoff or video playback.

- Toshiba TV (VIDAA): Not yet tested. VIDAA instructions do not apply to Toshiba Fire TV or Android TV models. Check the platform and regional manual.

## Troubleshooting

### The Home menu does not have More Apps

The documented path is for VIDAA. Check the operating-system name and use the Fire TV or Google / Android TV guide where appropriate. Menu differences are not evidence that your TV has the same browser under a different name.

### No QR code appears on the TV

Check that the TV is online and that you typed kkll.li exactly. Older TV browsers may not support the features sendlinktotv.com needs; if the page keeps showing “Connecting…”, try another device with a newer browser.

### The page opens but the video does not play

Playback depends on the website and the TV browser. Some services, including Netflix, do not support TV web browsers. Try the same link in the TV browser directly to confirm.

### The site is blocked or asks me to sign in on the TV

The TV opens the link with its own internet connection and its own logins. Your phone’s VPN, accounts and cookies are not transferred, and sendlinktotv.com cannot bypass network or regional blocks.
